Miss Lashes

Within a few years, the Swabian company Miss Lashes has developed from a small start-up into the European beauty market leader for lash extensions. For a long time now, not only eyelashes are marketed - the product range includes all cosmetic products around the eye.

In order to provide the growing company with the appropriate space, a spectacular headquarters consisting of an office wing and an adjacent industrial hall was built in the industrial area of Horb am Neckar. Anna Philipp designed the interior and exterior of the building ensemble in line with the corporate architecture.

The main facade is inviting and open, with a fully glazed front and funnel-shaped walls and ceiling. The illuminated company logo spans the entire glazed entrance area, which is divided into individual segments like a crystal, and makes it glow in bright pink at night. The white plastered walls allow for an exciting reflection.

The colours pink and white are also continued inside the building: in interplay with a reduced palette of materials, the colourful eye-catchers in the form of furniture and luminaires provide precise accents in the interiors, which are otherwise designed in plain white.

The ground floor is characterised by a spacious reception area with reception and adjacent cafeteria. Along the corridor leading to the industrial hall, office and seminar rooms as well as wet cells and toilet rooms are lined up. The foyer, open over two floors, accommodates a skilfully staged metal spiral staircase that connects the ground floor with the upper floor. This is where further office and conference rooms are located. Large floor-to-ceiling windows provide natural lighting. Above the middle section of the building, a spacious roof terrace connects the office wing with the logistics centre. In addition to a small shop and other office and ancillary rooms, the goods are stored, packed and shipped here. A continuous skylight provides sufficient daylight inside the metal-clad industrial hall.

The ensemble of the headquarters presents itself as an elongated structure that is deliberately set apart from the other buildings on the industrial estate and sets an example of beautiful, timeless architecture.
