Move of Philipp Architekten BDA office to Waldenburg Castle

In Schloss Waldenburg, in completely redesigned rooms with state-of-the-art interior design, tailor-made villa and object architecture is planned, designed and realised.

Until a few months ago, the company's headquarters were in Untermünkheim. However, the success, more projects and the growing number of employees pushed the previous premises to their capacity limits. When the rooms in the castle were offered, the previous tenant, Philipp Architekten BDA took the opportunity. Thus, the entire interior concept was renovated, newly planned and expanded with a feel for the historical building fabric. The goal: A pleasant and representative working atmosphere where present and past harmonize and do not compete. The stately Waldenburg Castle catches the eye from afar. This is above all due to its exposed location, which is often called the "balcony of Hohenlohe". If you pass through the archway and enter the west wing of the historic walls, you will be surprised once again: an unusually modern 650 m2 office opens up over three floors. Behind it, with her passion for modern architecture and interior design, is Anna Philipp. The architect has already received many recognised awards for projects in villa and object construction. Together with her team of architects, interior designers, designers, civil engineers and technicians, she now designs and implements projects far beyond national borders. Usually, more than 20 employees work on the implementation of construction projects, but when the company moved, they all played their part and the entire technical equipment was dismantled in just 2 days and reassembled in the new office ready for operation. This meant that work could continue at the new location without any great loss of time, of which everyone involved is particularly proud. The extraordinary atmosphere of the entire office is further enhanced by an interesting collection of various art objects such as paintings and sculptures by well-known artists. In cooperation with Galerie Cyprian Brenner, numerous exhibits have been carefully selected and placed in the appropriate locations throughout the entire office. As soon as the visitor enters, a sculpture in the form of a young lady made of terracotta, life-size, "welcomes" him. "It is the dialogue between these contrasts of past and modern. This interplay has a special aesthetic and it triggers something that can best be described with reverence in a positive sense," says Anna Philipp.
